Art making for chronic illness

Do you suffer from chronic illness? Do you often feel overwhelmed at both the physical and emotional impact your illness has on you?

Art making can be a really powerful tool in helping us to explore our thoughts and feelings relating to our health, in a gentle and non-judgemental way.

This summer 2026, during July and August I am going to be offering one off art making sessions as well as blocks of 3x 50 minute art making sessions, for individuals with chronic illness. These will mainly be available on Tuesdays, but I do also have availability on Wednesday mornings.

These are for individuals aged 16+ and will provide you with:

  • A safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to express yourself

  • A wealth of materials to make art relating to your experience of chronic illness, including paint, clay, pastels, recycled and natural materials

  • Protected time for self-care with a qualified art therapist who just 'gets it'

  • A chance to use creativity to help you feel more in control of your chronic illness, as opposed to feeling like chronic illness controls you

If you are interested in giving this a go, please click on the 'notification of interest' form link below and I will get back to you as soon as possible via the contact details you provide.

Sessions can be in person from 45 Frederick Street or online via Zoom and cost £50 per session (or discounted price of £140 for 3 sessions if you book all three in advance).

Thank you for reading. I so look forward to working with you.
